Gianina
Gianina
Gianina is a nylon-string archtop developed around a full 16" body and Selmer-style cutaway, designed to accommodate nylon tension while retaining the projection and focus of carved construction. Often described as a unicorn among archtops, it pairs a hand-selected spruce soundboard with figured maple back and sides and a sugar maple neck, producing remarkable volume, a clear fundamental, and controlled sustain. The instrument is built strictly acoustic, with geometry and material choice prioritized over ornament or electronics.
