Sweet E
Sweet E is an archtop developed to embody the acoustic character and immediate feel prized by traditional jazz players, with framing and materials chosen for rich, balanced response in a recording or quiet ensemble context. Its construction combines hand-selected tonewoods with a hide-glue dovetail neck and a slim C carve neck profile. Designed to respond acoustically and remain stable under a floating pickup in performance, Sweet E delivers clarity, depth, and tonal separation without reliance on onboard amplification. Its scale, geometry, and material choices support articulate attack and even sustain across the register.
